Fabritius Tengnagel & Heine, Copenhagen's oldest law firm with 150 years of experience, is not one of Denmark's largest law firms. Nor has that ever been our aim. Our clients are our primary focus. We value personal support and direct communication.

Our principal areas of practice include litigation and arbitration, commercial law and company formation, all with a focus on SMEs.
We know that, alongside excellent legal advice and representation, entrepreneurial thinking is important to our clients. We therefore continually strive to recommend commercially sound decisions.

We have an extensive and established base of satisfied German clients comprising small and medium-sized companies. We advise our German clients on all matters required to conduct business in Denmark, from drafting employment contracts to establishing new branches. Our partners include auditors and tax advisers, allowing us to address financial matters efficiently and competently.

We have a broad network of cooperation partners and many companies also use us as a springboard into Scandinavia.
In litigation, for example, we successfully represented several former board members in major proceedings following the financial crisis. More recently, we were instructed to represent a number of US funds in Denmark in the so-called cum-ex proceedings concerning suspected serious tax evasion with a European dimension.
