In September 2022, the Advoselect network met in Lisbon for the first time, a highlight for intensive exchange between its member firms. Especially in times of crisis, internationally active companies need swift, legally sound decisions. Thanks to its European network, Advoselect firms can support their clients in a targeted and competent way.
The conference at member firm PLMJ Advogados
provided an opportunity to deepen collaboration, discuss recent court decisions and legislative developments, and present new services. A highlight was the launch of the Advoselect app, which gives members and clients fast, Europe-wide communication as well as access to specialist information, webinars, podcasts and an extensive knowledge base.
Other topics included planned guides to purchasing property in Europe and discussions in the specialist committees on corporate law, employment law, insolvency law, and international arbitration and litigation.
The accompanying programme, including a tuk-tuk tour through Lisbon’s old town, rounded off the conference and provided further opportunities to strengthen personal connections.
